  • I need some help deciding something...

Ok. I'm way too indecisive when it comes to cars. One week I'll want this one, the next week I'll like that one. One thing is for sure though- We're buying another car next year. I have it narrowed down to three cars, but can't decide which one I'd like the most. Maybe you all can help me. Next year I'll be getting back from Saudi, and should have about $6,000-8,000 saved up by then. I can go higher with a small car loan, but not by too much
Option 1: Buy a '92-'97 Subaru SVX, like this one, with a few more pics of it here. That one is a little more expensive than normal, but picked it because it had a few more pics than the rest. I'd also have a few grand leftg over to either put a super in the camaro or a turbo in the svx.
Option 2: Get a '97-'99 GTP, no money left over for mods.
Option 3: Get a B4C like this one , no money left over whatsoever, but be more than happy w/ a z28.

My problem is that a '98+ z28 has been my dream car since I first saw them. But I like the svx almost as much. It just struck me as stunning and beautiful.

I don't even look at a car (when I was shopping for one) unless its a manual, but that z28s an exception. Get that!

I've heard bad things about old subarus.... I'm not sure, but I have heard they aren't too reliable. If I were you, I would go with the gtp or the camaro.

I'd get the GTP if you have kids..
              Get the Z if not.

I was looking at the SVX before I bought my bird. They are nice looking cars and ultra rare (only 650 1997's sold in US) Sadly the 92-95 cars are prone to transmission failures due to overheating and parts for all years are VERY expensive. Thus I will join the rest of the choir and suggest you get the LS1. You'll not be disapointed.

honey... your decisions are going to be biased on an FBODY forum.

Don't buy the GTP because the resale value sucks. they are on the top 10 most depreciative vehicles sold to date.

Wow, with this much response, I would have thought the camaro would be receiving at least 90% of the votes. Thank you all for your input. I will be calling cop cars online within the next few days and post what goes down. Hopefully I'll be able to do it next year!

Well, it was either going to be on here, gminsidenews or an rx-7 forum. Maybe I will put it up on gminside news to see what they would say also, but I'm pretty much convinced that I'll have two camaros next year
