just as title says!! i have a new job at target and i was opening boxes and well i think my keys got thrown away!!! was my only set(just bought the car) can the dealership get my key code form the door or vin number!!! if not what will have to happen?

They can but it would prolly be cheaper to get a locksmith to do it. I had a VATS key made for $25 when mine got destroyed. i worked at target for 3 years..... lol first job.... biggest waste of my time.... NO OVERTIME... AND WE ARE ONLY GOING TO PAY YOU LIKE 7 BUX AN HOUR!

best way ive found to unlock my car if my keys are inside is to get a metal coat hanger, bend everything but the hook straight, then CAREFULLY!!!! pry back the top of the window on the side of the car closest to where your keys are sitting. slide the hook thru the key ring and you can lift the keys thru the corner of the window that is pulled back. i originally seen this done by AAA and I have used it since on my camaro whenever i'm stupid enough to lock myself out. also, if you go to a locksmith, are they going to be able to make the key with the resistor in it? i guess maybe they can, i dont know...Comment
