  • Summitracing.com... morons!

I've always bought my parts from summit. I just ordered a catback magnaflow exhaust for my car, the total was $435.xx.
Well I went to my bank this morning to check my balance and it was in the negatives... I go in and ask why this happened, and summit charged me twice for $435.xx!!!! I called summit and they are refunding my money but its not going to be in my account until monday.. which means not only am I broke until monday, but I will also have a charge of $35 to my account for overdrawing and an additional $5 for every day that my account is over drawn.. Unbelieveable... can anything else go wrong?!?

Would take to long for me to send money into summit and wait for them to mail me back the parts, I like the electronic transfers... they're usually fast and easy.... not this time

        Get the Overdraft protection.

I'd get Summit to reimburse your bank fees also.

Yeah, I'd bet if you nicely explain what happened they would be willing to reimburse those as well since it was their screwup. Ask again if they can get that credited any faster also... ask to speak to a supervisor if you still get a no. It's not like this is Sat or something, they've got 2 business days yet this week to get it done.

I didnt click it twice.. the first time I ordered my credit card was denied for some reason, so I called them and gave them my CC info again and it wouldn't go through, so I told them to cancel the order, he canceled it, but from what the guy I spoke to said, he didn't take out the charge amount.. just canceled the shipment

Now a little update.. I goto the bank this morning because they refunded my account.. but a day before I got double charged I filled up a tank of gas($40) and it didn't go through until after they double charged me, so now I have two overage charges, Total of $70 and a charge now for $3 a day. Now I have to send a letter into summit telling them what happen while my account runs up $3 a day. Meanwhile I have no money for gas no money for anything

                          Ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
