  • My Camaro ^_^

    I bought a '96 a few weeks ago for $3300.

Images(big...will take some time to load): http://themessageboard.net/camaro

Eh I am pretty sure everything is stock at the moment. It has 65k miles. As far as problems go the drivers side mirror is broken, there is a 2 inch dent on the rear left and 2 scratches on the drivers side door. It also has an ugly spoiler. -.-

I'm thinking a cold air intake would be a good first upgrade, thoughts? Keep in mind that I really have no idea what I am doing at the moment.

Looks good, but i don't dig the spoiler either. Good price, low miles, sounds like a good deal to me.

Those pics are hugeeee by the way, took pretty long to open on DSL

Yeah the spoiler is lame. I actually have a normal one waiting for my at my uncles junk yard but it needs to be painted. Also...how much would it cost to get an LT1 installed? Because I can probably get one for free from my uncle and if might be cheaper than just upgrading the 6.

I would fix any damage before doing mods. if you are wanting an lt1 already why didnt you just get one instead of the 6? 3300 + price of lt1 + time to install = probably as much as it would have cost for a decent lt1 car = my $.02

Well I thought getting an lt1 installed wouldn't cost more then say $2000 but after doing me research I realized that it would be much more. And as far as the cost of the actual engine...that would all be free or close to it.
