  • cant pick a car.

i cant decide which car to get.

    http://img31.imageshack.us/img31/5796/00002294ra.jpg
owner says he ran a 13.2
Pace setter ceramic coated shorty headers and y, magnaflow 3" cat and SS exaust, K&N FIPK, 1LE elbow, edelbrock 52mm throttle body, BMR tubular lower control arms with poly bushings, BMR LCA bolt on relocation brackets, B&M Transmition cooler, Transgo shift kit, and TCI super street fighter 3000 stall speed converter.
    $5000

    http://www.buildaracecar.com/ $3500
(no cruise control/ spider cracked front bumper)
has headers no cat and a race muffler and i guess this thing makes some friggin noise!!!

there are a couple more too. the first guy hasnt responded in the post and his email doesnt seem to work.

the second guy says he sell for 3000 if it sells this week. which i cant do.

so my choices are really like this
1: a nice car with no mods. i wont be able to mod it.

2: a car in need of some body and maybe a little interior work. the local college paints cars for the cost of suppplies so not much to that i guess. but two cars like this are close to 12's one ran a 13.1 one ran a 13.2

so im really torn and im leaning towards the beatup one for speeeeeed!

    any suggestions?

find a stock one. you'll feel alot better about it down the road when you look at what youve done to it.

i wouldnt buy a modded car personally. id rather build it up from stock form.

    but to each his own.

id go with the formula if i had to pick though.

Looks to me like they have both been rode hard and put away wet. From those first two I would go with the Camaro for sure. Five grand seems a bit steep though.

By the way, is it just me or do I see strips of rubber in the drive way of the Camaro picture?

Go with the Z, if a spider cracked the front bumper on the formula it must be really weak...har har...i know really bad....lol

all the formy needs is a new front clip and a paint job really. if it were me id have to get a whole new interior though. that tan is friggin ugly.

my only real problem with it would be that the guy sprays it. i dont think id buy a car thats been N20'd to death. but then again lt1s can be abused to he11 and back with out much going wrong.

                  needs:
throttle body swap to get cruiz working - have
electronic module under dash replaced for 'traction control' light replaced - have
                  heater core replaced
1-2 syncro might need to be replaced - if you shift too fast it wants to grind - but works great otherwise

I have been using this car as my daily driver and have had no problems with it. Just need to down size my garage a bit. I also have the cable and TunerCat to tune the car. Have some stock parts to go with the car as well. If you have any questions or want more pictures email me and I'll get them to you. Car is located in Las Vegas.

so far this is the winner
