Dunno where else to put this so i put it here...I need to ship an airdam for an S10 to FL. Im having an issue The measurements read 66in L and 72in girth....UPS.com is telling me its gonna cost me 111$ to ship a 15lb package ups ground. I shipped a transmission to florida a couple months ago for a HELLUVA lot less and it weighed 148lbs. I cant beleive that the 138in of total package size can warrant 111$ charge. Ive shipped bigger for less and see bigger shipped for less..i dont get it am i doing something wrong?

Definately shouldn't cost that much!! I paid about $40 to ship a 35lb. torque converter. Try the United States Postal System instead and get it insured. It'll be a lot less money.2004 CE Corvette 10.86@132mph

It's the odd shape. For normal sized packages, weight is the biggest factor in the cost. Since the thing is huge, it blows the cost way out of proportion.www.RedLineVSix.com || 1996 Camaro, 15.159@92.5mph
