So, the problem with frozen pizzas, especially rising crust ones, is that you cook it like the box says and end up with perfect outside and the cheese in the center is barely warm. The center crust is soft, but cooking it the rest of the way will char the outside.
I got a convection toaster oven which helped cook the whole crust evenly, but still didn't seem to hit the cheese in the middle enough.
Cast iron frying pan to the rescue. Needs to be nice and well seasoned (black!).
Don't preheat the oven. Put the pizza in the pan, and sit it in the bottom rack of the oven. Then turn the oven on, and cook according to directions (400* for 20 mins or whatever).
Pizza's been coming out perfect. Woot!
