Why did you have valve reliefs on a flat top piston? Were you meaning to get a lower compression ratio?

THe shop ordered them from Je directly Custom build, JE said they will give the car 10:1 compression

To better explain it. They are a Taller piston.
They are ment to raise compression from 9:0:1 to 10:1.
The pistons were made custom to the cam and its lift.
Valve reliefs are for the pistons dont hit the valves.

I also notice that you lost your bird decal on the front bumper. After a couple more mods I plan on touching the engine too. But for now, I doing the little things.

Very nice though. Good job. 10:1 compression if my calculation is correct would bring you to 220 hp maybe.

Davinci Motorworks is doing the engine and paint work.
Well parts were around $1,500
Paint was around $600
Labor and machine work are around $2000
Yea they repainted the whole front bumper and to do that they took the bird off, i'm thinking of leaving it off too.

Called the shop motor is being dropped in now.
Just all the sensors hooked up and cooling system back in the car and things should be rolling tommorrow.
