Well, we got back from the honeymoon last night around 8:30.
The wedding was great! Everything went along very well, the ceremony itself was near perfect. Dan M, Camarolover98 (Kris), and 93threefour (Paul) showed up.
The reception was great. Maybe I'm a little biased, but of all the wedding receptions I've been to, that was the most fun one Of course, thanks to Dan...Sarah wears the pants
We stayed overnight in cincinnati, then headed straight out for the Outer Banks of North Carolina. We *finally* made it - took about an hour and a half longer than we anticipated because the village we stayed in was in the southern outer banks. But nonetheless, we made it.
Over the course of the week, we did the typical island stuff...plenty of beach (sandcastles!!!), sightseeting, and local food. Most of it was pretty good. We stayed at a little beach house that was walking distance to the beach, and had a nice view of the ocean.
The way home took about 13 hours as well...partially because Virginia sucks  FIVE traffic jams...people who drive below the speed limit in the fast lane, 4 of the five traffic jams were for absolutely NO reason, and semis just drove in whatever lane they wanted, didn't move over for faster traffic. Let's NOT forget, closing a bridge to ONE lane for construction on a friday afternoon!! Brilliant!
Anyhow, despite all that, the Trans Am still got ~28 mpg with the AC blowing, up and down the hills of VA and WV. Finally we got home, and got settled in Boy I'm glad to be home.
