    The best part of the whole thing was Monday night - a cool, clear evening with almost no city lights. We could see thousands of stars and even the Milky Way was visible - that has not been visible in Southeast Florida since WWII.
    I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

      yeah I was amazed i have been out in the sticks before but never seen so many stars...

      I drove down on mon night, no power from Palm Bay south.

            you know, that doesnt really look all that bad. We've had ice storms up here (well... in NY where I lived up to a few years ago) that have leveled forests worse than in those pics.

            Good luck on the clean-up and repair!!

                  I'd rather deal with hurricanes then worry about an earthquake.
