Have you ever used a leaf blower to dry your car? Im just curious if im the only that fires up the leaf blower to dry off my car? Might be redneck but it works. Everytime i wash my car at home instead of taking it down the road to dry it off i start the leaf blower and go from top to bottom. Takes about 3-7 minutes and about 3-5 trips around the car.
Have you ever done this?

Hell yeah! One of our car club meetings had a guy come in and give a demo on the best way to wash your car and he suggested a leaf blower. I've used one ever since. It is the best way to get water out of the crevases (sp?).

Not for my car, but for my bike I do. Gets the water out of all the little nooks and crannys... works great. No water spots or streaks... :D
And im assuming if you are a redneck doing it, the leaf blower would be spewing gas/oil mix all over the car from your POS leaf blower...
Glad to hear im not the only one . Water spots are never a problem you could always take the small portions of water off that you missed with a shamee or towel.

Hey Eric, how do you like that thing? I just can't bring myself to using one. I know they say it won't scratch, but I just see it and think about wayward sandgrain of being dragged acros my car. I stick with a big pile of little old 100% cotton towels.
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

i use the waterblade on customers cars for my detailing business, but not on my car. It works pretty good and it makes the car much easier to dry, just go around it once with the blade then once with a shammy or towel and your done. The towel or shammy wont fill up wioth water because most of it has already been wiped off.

Also does anyone get the "nasty bumper" effect when you take your car down the road to dry it off nasty **** runs out and drys on the bumper?
