I just want to say that I bought mine new. I bought it when the new '98 body style came out in late '97.
I wasn't interested at all at 4th gen. I was more of a 3rd gen guy. I was going to buy a red convertible GTA made by PASS. It was the rarest GTA being that it's a convertible. But when I saw a the new body style of the Firebird at the Burger King it was an instant love.
Went to Muller Pontiac and saw a black one that happens to be the best looking one in the Firebird and Trans Am line up. Next thing you know, it was mine.
Bought my 2000 used at the end of Dec. with 62k for $10k and my old car (Taurus ) became my moms. The bird has 73k now.
Ever since then I've fallen in love with F-Bodies ;) I've been "planning" on buying a low-mi LS1 for awhile, but with the new tickets I think I'll have to wait longer :(
It was summer of 2004 and i wanted a car just for fun. A car to chill with my friends. so, i was goofing around on ebay. Then suddenly i see this camaro which was just 30 miles from my home. It was a 96 convertible (with 110k )which is perfect for summer. I bid on it and went to sleep. The very next morning (one of happiest day in my memory) i got my own Camaro. It was used but mint cond. New or used it doesn't matter, Camaro's Rule anyway......
I bought mine used March 2003, with 35K miles on it. I plan on keeping it until I reenlist (2008) when I'll be getting an SS and probably a CTS for my wife. I bought it because I was suppose to replace my first car ('89 rs) with a '93 camaro, but ended up with a '95 Avenger. I saw mine at a car lot when I was visiting my then fiance. Bought it the day I saw it, and I'm still as in love with it as I was when I first got it
bought it middle of july with 19,995 miles on it lol. i am now up to 21,450... hopefully i wont be driving it as much when school starts, i hate to put so many miles on a car that was barely driven in the first few years.
