I'd get a cam and lifters, and just have the car painted hugger orange, no stripes. Then, save up for the stripes down the line. Viola' you have the best of both worlds. 105k isn't new by any means, but if properly maintained you'll have at least 45k more before it drops. If you get the new engine and upgrades, at your age (sorry not being ageist) you'll probably break something before it's broken in.
