alcohol related injuries/deaths?? I won't even get into that...it's killed more people than all other drugs combined, by a very large margin.

Some of you may know the late astronomer Carl Sagan, not only was he a brilliant man, he was also a major pot smoker who sat at Ronald Reagan's White House dinner parties back then.

Billions and billions of pot smokers can't be wrong.

We're sure to witness a dramatic slump in crime rates wherever pot is legalized. There is hope for citizens who suffer illnesses that marijuana can help them out without government intrusion and persecution.
I would support a tax and tarriff on pot farms which would totally eliminate the massive US Debt, think about it. It would offset any negative taboos about a plant that our government fears so much.

The people have spoken in Colorado. It's about damn time.

It would be about as underground as tobacco. I know you think we should do away with it, but financially this could help nationally. We could bring in a lot more in tax money from it, and would definitely lower a rising crime rate.

Getting rid of alky and tobacco would be disaterous for this country. We have tried it with alky, look where that got us. I can't see a legitimate reason not to legalize, and without the reasons of death, because lets face it, EVERYTING in this world has killed or hurt someone at some point.

I'd hope you say the same thing about drinking. A LOT of people smoke weed. You'd be suprised how many people are stoned constantly.
