werd. i have always showed upmost respect to girls in highschool and in college. never really had a girlfriend.

I ask my dad why no girls like me, even the ones that have dated everyone in highschool(but me) (keep in mind I am a 19 year old virgin, waiting till marraige)
my dad and others say that "they think your too good for them so they stay away" I call BS to that.

yeah i dont understand girls either, and yes they like jerks that treat them like crap and show no respect. I have a lot of sweetness and love waiting to just make a girls day(life) to show her how much I car and what I would do for her. but no girls want that anymore or so it seems.

like yesterday, well usually if i see a girl at a stoplight i nod or smile or whatever right, all i get is (a look of like he's piece of crap that just wants into my pants) she turns away and completely ignores me, 95% of the girls do this.

then yesterday on the way to get a hair cut I see these two cute girls at the stoplight. I had an EXTREMELY BAD day and i didnt even smile, i looked over (was kinda inconsiderate for not noding or whatever) and then just looked ahead and turned up the radio. with this i thought they would be like "whats his problem?" but to my suprise the girl yelled over to me over my loud music and said she liked my music. she asked what i was doing then and we talked till the light turned green. then they waved goodbye and both kept looking at me.

I am completely stumped. this girl i know said its because i was indifferent(whatever that means) and that the girls wanted to know why.

I dont understand how everyoneelse just naturally gets into a good relationship and it goes great.

yeah i hear ya man. talk to the waitress adn ask her why she wouldnt like you, figure out why. dont conform to someones wants but maybe there is something that you should change about yourself. not doggin on you or anything, but yeah the more communication with girls on that subject the better.

like you I refuse to be a jerk and yeah, nice guys do finish last (if ever)

but what do i know i am only 19

Well, it's all relative. What are you looking for in a woman? What have you done to meet them? Sounds like you are just interacting with the wrong types.

There is bound to be quality women that would be attracted to you. How motivated are you to find them?

OMG!!!
I was contimplating the same exact thing.
This proves to me that God does exist and he has a sense of humor.
Going on in Grad school in order to be more successful and "stable".
Through my experinces in Orlando and Miami, You either have to be an @ss or have money, No offense to the women on the boards here. Just as men can be shallow and piggish, women can be cruel heartless you know what.
I don't want to hijack your rant or anything, but I totally agree with you 100%. I feel the exact same way and I didn't know how to say it, you said it for me Bro.

I smoke and go to strip clubs on a CONSTANT basis, it doesn't help.

James, I know exactly where you are coming from. I seem to fall in that "friend" category too often, and all for just trying to be nice. There are women who say they want a nice guy, you give it to them, and its not what they want. They either want A) a model from a GQ mag, B) a rich guy, or C) an ***hole. And after being there for too many women, and trying to be nice and getting burned for it, there is now a reason why I don't trust a woman, not one.

here's what I have to say on this subject. You an still be a nice guy, and still find a nice girl.......or naughty girl whatever u prefer.

The way I see it....is that you have to have a proverbial "edge" to you, no matter what it is. Women can then see that you're a nice guy, but there's some sort of hidden mean streak to you. I'm not saying that they flock to me or anything (even though they should, cuz I have 2 neons ;) ) All I'm saying is that being yourself does work, but sometimes you just gotta turn the volume knob up a bit.....if you smell what I'm cooking.

Of course I caused that whole scene from last night. I should have kept my mouth shut about that subject, but I decided to run with it.......damn those beers.

James, I know exactly where you are comming from. Nice guys do finish last. April and I have had our troubles and I have been nothing but kind, respectful and loving towards her and she still wants to leave to see if there is anything better. Yes I may have commited some faults but that dosent change anything for the way I feel about her.
Women are b*tches and there is nothing in this world we can do to make them happy. They always need something and are never satisfied.

Here's what I've found works.

You have to be a nice jerk. Women like to be sassed...give them a lot of ****, but go see a movie they want to see.

My ex, what used to work with her was I had control of that damn TV remote all the time, unless it was for CSI (I don't like that show) and in that case, I'd just get on the computer. I also teased her a lot like I did my guy friends (but not extreme, I knew my boundaries).

I find that they won't give it time to get to know me, and to know that after I know you for a week or two i come out of my shell and really open up and am a fun person to be around.....
i gave up if if they talk to me then thats cool but even if i have a girl and shes 4000 miles away i get all kinds of chance... soon as we broke up they all like disapeared

And.... it IS true..... NICE guys ALWAYS finish LAST!!!!

People suck. All people suck - not just women, not just men - all people. (present company more or less accepted.)

I'm happily single for life, don't trust people in general and have found the best way to be happy in life is to be everyone's friend ... but don't get too close because of the nature of people.

I have learned, that people, in general will take anything you tell them in confidence and use it against you the first chance they get ... etc, etc.

Hense the reason I am everyone's friend, happily single for life ... and a friend for life. Life is so much simplier that way. (especially, because when you're done being everyone's friend you can go home, sit quietly with a book, and have no one ask you for anything! Yes, I'm that selfish!)

i dont know how you do it man..i've never been single for any longer than 6 months..somehow i always end up meeting someone or having something happen..that doesnt mean it was for the best though..i've had about 5 "real" relationships including my present gf..one girl cheated on me with like 3 guys..so obviously i left her...another girl just treated me like a total @sshole and then left me..im like..why the hell did you go out with me in the first place then!!?? lol ..the girl im with now is great..she actually answered an ad of mine for a roommate..showed her the place..made a contract for the bills and stuff..she moved in..after a little while one thing led to another..now we've been living together for 7 months and plan for many many more

so anyways..im thinking..why not try to answer some singles ads or something..go on a few blind dates..if its just hard to meet girls there or you're not the clubing type (im not a fan of bars and night clubs myself)..and its not like you're in school anymore then theres no shame in that..im sure theres a very nice woman out there whos in your same situation..FATE man..everything is and always will be the way it was meant to be..yours is out there..and your paths will cross eventually...and when they do its not going to be about your job or your hobbies..it'll be the way it should be..about YOU [img]smile.gif[/img]

Maybe you just need to lower your standard. Beauty is not everything, because in time they fade. When I used to be so involved in the fitness industry, I've dated alot of gorgeous women. That's when I found out how shallow most of them are.

Then I started dating girls that are not so. I dated a girl that had only one eye, she had a glass eye on the other side and I also dated a girl that weighted 230lbs. Both of them are great but they were insecure. I couldn't develop a relationship on that.

I was getting desperate too. Because I was losing my hair, I was getting fat and everyday I was getting ugly. I was just not taking care of myself anymore. Then I met a lady who was very humble and nice to talk too. Then bad things started happening to me, I got laid off and went through hard times, emotionally and mentally. While she on the other hand was fine. But I notice she never left my side. So I married her when things were looking great again.

James, you know what, I think you should go to church more often and participate in all of the church functions. That's the best place to meet good quality women. And if you don't see a woman at your age there, make your intention known and someone would probably recommend someone to you.
