smoked for 1 and a half years... quit once for 5 months, started for 1 months, then quit again.. now it's been around 3 months. Don't even want to start it again, ever. Once you quit for a week (make it through the weekend), you basically got it made. Cold turkey is the best method.

\"Well, we don\'t care how bad-*** some dude\'s N/A Honda S2000 motor is; if you go up against 900+ pushrod ponies and 750 pounds of earth-shaking torque with a wrong-wheel-drive econobox, you\'re gonna get a fast and furious old-school ***-whipping.\"
I smoke, unfortunately. Started when I was 13 ... stopped for about a year when I was 18, but started up again recently. It just makes all the stress go away ... and lord knows I have a ton of that! HaHa
However, I am thinking about quitting for good. I'm only 19, it shouldn't be that difficult! It's just so hard when EVERYONE around you smokes ... but ... we'll see ...

THIS TOPIC IS ADDRESSED TO SMOKERS. IF YOU ARE A NONSMOKER, PLEASE SHUT UP AND DO NOT REPLY. THE TITLE OF THIS THREAD WAS NOT "ALL NONSMOKERS, PLEASE COME IN AND PISS AND MOAN ABOUT SMOKERS". IF SMOKERS WANTED YOUR OPINION ON SMOKING THEY WOULD HAVE ASKED FOR IT.

Smoked for 2 years, been smoke free for more thatn six months (I quit January) and did it cold turkey. I used it like a drug. It helped lots for me when I was stressed out cuz I could go outside in the middle of the night have a couple of smokes (midnight snack) then go to bed. Eventually I think I'll start up again within a year Im not ready to completely quit 100 percent.

Actually, an x-gf of mine was quite turned ON by it...
I have smoked varying amounts for ~4 months now, got sick about a month ago when it got up to a pack a day and so i cut back down to 1 or 2 daily. I am about 5/day currently... I know I should quit but half the time i eat too much, or just wake up, or have something stressful goin on and it's just like a blessing to be able to just pull out a winston and regain my cool temperament.
So my truck is finally getting some work done, after 17 years, Oil pressure sensor went out and it’s located under the lower intake manifold. Have to...
