Good brand of weight benches?

Whats a good brand for weight benches. 2 of my friends have Marcy the seem pretty good, what do you think of them?

hm... i think it is just a preference thing, but make sure you get olympic width. i saw a nice-looking one at walmart for $89; square steel tubing, welded joints, powdercoated... very sharp

I have a Marcy brand bench also, and I really like it. I've had it for about 3 years now and it's holding up great. I've got the bench with the device for doing leg extensions on the end of the bench. I would recommend spending the extra money on that one.

Yeah, what he said.

But honestly, if your going to be doing home gym training just get a olympic squat rack and a moveable adjustable bench.

With these combo you can do chest, back, shoulder and legs. Plus, if your doing bench presses you can set the bars on the squat rack and when you fail, you can just drop it on those.

I don't know if you have Busy Bodies in your area but they carry awesome gym equipments for a good price.
