• My car is NEVER going to make it to the track...

I have like 240 miles left on my clutch break in...

but now see my problem, when I wake up in the morning and walk pick up my keys and walk outside. I have to make a choice...

Drive this and have to baby it, take it easy and break in the clutch...

    or drive this...

Looks like this will have to be the choice I make for like a week maybe two. :(

Look at it this way, your car gets a rest, the weather will be perfect for racing by the time you break in your clutch, and you get to drive a CORVETTE! :D
BTW, can I have your most up-to-date e-mail address? Thanks!

              Its my dad's...

few months back I borrowed my brother's truck(he is in europe) To move... and well it just sits in my parents driveway, so we let it just sit in my driveway, especially since I did the clutch/rear install. We never spent the time to drive it all the way back to my parents placy(3 hour drive) So its been at my place.

Well since south FL is still trashed from the hurricane, my dad wanted the vette up here and he need the truck for hauling crap. So we traded.

he also wants me to clean it up and make it "Pretty"

So I will have it for like a week or two.

What is the break-in period for any new clutch? I take it you installed a specific type and following the mandatory usage as directed so I ask if there's a difference.

I think my question should be in the Drivetrain forum but I thought I'd sneak this in. Lately I am pressing the clutch pedal a bit harder on to the floor panel to shift. My drivers seat is adjusted forward to max out my left leg actuation with ease.

I am forming a petition to get Eric kicked off this board. His posts are too agrivating. Anyone with me?

yeah don't worry I think I'll be doing that... I am going to pull the Y2ks off put my Zr1s on the vette, so I can clean the Y2ks... If I have time I'll toss them on the Camaro, see how it looks.

has a little bit more oversteer then my car...
