try reving it up to like 3k rpm, then let go of the clutch and move your foot to the brake really quickly. It's hard to do without a line lock kit, but it is fesable. You def. need to rev it up higher. You shouldn't have any problem. I can rip 'em loose with my 3.4L no problem.

hahaha... sorry thats funny. yeah rev it higher and then dump it. you have enough power in there to stand still for a few seconds, long enough to hit the brakes just right
The confusion surrounds me
change is imminent
if I were they
we could be great
try holding the gas solid at 3.5k rpm, dump the clutch and hit the brakes, if you have rear drum, it's easy to overpower the rear brakes, dunno about rear disc.

i have disc brakes and all 3 times i did it i rev to about 3300 or so, little but above 3k but not quite 3500. just practice. i think i just got lucky a few times.
EDIT: here ya go. first 3pics were done using the brakes. the 2 in my driveway were just little ones to scare my dog :D no brakes, just dumping the clutch quick then pushing it back in so i dont hit the house.

lay off the brakes a little bit to the wheels are good and spinning...
lowend on the 3.8L seems to suck, I never had a problem in my 3.4L doing it but with the 275s on my 3.8L I run into problems
but it doesn't matter seems recently my clutch likes to slip more then my wheels do anyways.

In an auto that's pretty much all you do is hold the brake (not too hard though) and stomp the gas. 3.8s have a hard time doing this because of ****ty low end power.
