Nah, see, if ya'll want to have a PITA job try turning a wrench for a living. I love it but god damn, try dealing with advisors/writers who think they're mechanics and then trying to find a stupid rattle that the customer is complaining about that only happens when its raining on the third tuesday of the 4th month in a leepyear with a full moon at 67 1/2mph going northwest on a 1/2 mile stretch of road..... while braking and steering to the left..
Then you get to deal with sales people who dont know **** about them either
Yes, try dealing with that before you try and say selling cars is hard. But since we were on the topic of sales I'd figure I'd use an example of someone whos been in car sales for years and my family which has forgotten more about the retail industry than you'll ever know So no, dont try and tell me about retail and working on spiffs, and definately dont tell me its hard.. Its only hard if you make it hard, otherwise all you're doing is shooting the **** with people and working with them to find what they want... not too difficult.. Just be yourself around people, know the basics about sales, and you HAVE to know your product....
Sales people, from every dealership I have worked at, seem to think they have the hardest job there. I'd love to see one of them turn wrench for 12 1/2 hours a day, especially if its not gravy work, such as the example I used above.. Sales, is cake.
So dont try to talk down at me like you have in previous posts about the "3rd largest toyota dealership - blah blah blah" ;) 2 years in sales is NOTHIN, and 45k a year is getting your deals penciled like a sunuva-!
