If you are only using it for emailing pictures and posting on the internet, I doubt you even need to spend $200. I decent 2.1 MP camera will do just fine for that. One can be had for between $100-$150 pretty easily i'm sure.

frankly if you look around and spend a few extra bucks look for Canon A70.
Its freaking bad *** you will not regret it, Its one of the top pick cameras of choice at cz28.com
I got mine a year ago for ~$260 and looking it looks like it might be less then $200 this year but I only half assed looked online. Not sure if those were used or refurbished units.
Its technically an old model, they came out with a Canon A75, which is nearly the same thing with like 1-2 differences(I already looked at it in the store) but its up to like $300-$350
3.2 megapixel, can do small videos, huge small manual shutter speeds if you want, AA batery capable(rechargeable AA batteries are cheaper then rechargable camera batteries) and if you are in a bind normal AAs work. Only problem is it comes with a 16mb mem card. I bought a 512mb, and on the largest setting on superfine, it'll do like 300-400 pictures, normal pictures average person uses, it will do 600-700. Great for week long vacations.
Also if you dive their is an option for an underwater camera case, I got one worked great no complaints. Looking to pick up a telephoto lens for it someday but its a little pricey

You can get an A75 for around $199 usually. I work at Circuit City and my friend bought the A75 on sale about a month ago for $175 and it came with a free Duracell battery charger with 4 AA batteries that normally costs $25, so she pretty much got the A75 for $150.
The only thing is that we've been out for two weeks now and can't get anymore at least until after Christmas.
Can't help you. I'm looking at the Canon S70- 7.1 megapixel, 14x zoom, does RAW images, photostitch, has a wide angle lens, and all kinds of other features. I know it's not what you're looking for, but I found an authorized dealer that's selling it for about $400.

I'm thinking about getting that one too. I just can't decide if I want the smaller S500 or the S70. Costco has the S70 for $499, and the S500 is like $150 cheaper for me. I don't care for the look of the S70 though.
