OMG!!! im Soooo mad!!

Ok well just about 15 minutes ago I was on my way home from my g/f's house. I was pulling out of her road and with it being late ya know I thought id take it easy on the way home. So I pull out and im going down the highway at maybe 1/8th throttle and on top of that its uphill so I cant really go fast, well just so happens at the top of the hill here come's a cop car and my radar detector is going off like crazy but I dont think nothing about it because im only doing 55 which is what they allow on this highway. Well for some odd reason the a-hole turns around and comes after me!!! and im thinking..whoa WTF? ya know, I know I wasnt going that fast because I remember looking down at my speedo as we both topped the hill and I distinctly remember seeing 55-57 MPH. So I pull over ya know and he walks up to my car and asks me for my driver's license and then proceeds to ask me why he pulled me over and so I just looked at him speechless because I know I wasnt going over the speed limit and then he tells me he clocks me at 67 MPH and at this point im just like....wait a minute I KNOW thats not right but I dont say a word and he just proceeds to give me a verbal warning and let me go. Well this really pisses me off and gets me thinking, just before I topped the hill I was in the inside lane, he was in the inside lane coming towards me and there's this mustang coming up behind me really fast so I get into the next lane to let him pass, he pulls up beside me and then proceeds to go on down the road at what I know was over 60 MPH. The only thing I can figure is either my speedo isnt working properly, his radar wasnt calibrated, OR he got that dam mustang coming up behind me at 60+ mph and im guessing it was the mustang because there was no way he could have really accurately clocked me with the time that he had because as soon as I saw him, he had done passed me. But anyway, I just wanted to rant a little bit. Im still steaming a$$ mad over it.

True im not crying over considering I didnt get anything, it only pissed me off because I know for a fact I wasnt speeding so now the cops are gonna watch my car like a hawk now because of that incident and its really easy to tell my camaro from all the rest because of where the headlights are normally black, mine are the same color as the body, arctic white so you can tell its mine.

If anyone considers this police harassment - I think you should figure out what that term means, So the police officer pulled him over. "Claimed" he was going 67, didnt give him a ticket, and he went on his way. Perhaps the cop realized it wasnt him but the black mustang, or maybe the cop just wanted to see if he seemed drunk.
Who knows, but to whine harassment is just silly.

Sounds like he was trying to get YOU to incriminate YOURSELF by saying something like "I wasn't going 67mph, I was going 57mph"...then he would have gotten you for speeding because you admitted it even though he had no proof. Gotta love some of these cops...

Id be pissed too. I had a very similar incident. Its like they say in a cocky voice, "Well your lucky im just gonna let you off with a warning this time..." Its like, gee thanks a-hole, like you are doing me a favor or something when ya didnt do a damn thing in the first place. Heh, sorry, just remembering back to mine, cept the cop was being a complete *** to me AND my girlfriend...

Yea and the sad part is...it was oour towns ***** cop. I mean really to look at this guy you would seriously think he is *****. Everybody calls him gunrunner because he has gnrunr on his tag. Oh and btw I also think he was kinda prejudice because he also drives a black 99 mustang GT. Ive seen his tag and seen it parked at city hall.

Yesterday evening my cousin was dropping me off at my car. I tell him i am going to east coast for gas. So were leaving the parkin lot im rolling pretty good friends are walking out of school.20 MPH at most. I get to the end of the school parkin lot to make a left. All i see is a unmarked car with its lights on pointin at me to pull into a parkin spot. So i pull in beside my cousins tiburon. He asks for license and registration we give it to him. His words "This is not the place for this ****, look at all the kids around blah blah blah".To my cousin "Your exhaust was screaming". He was off duty he was not in uniform. He never once called in my tags. He called in my cousins tags and after talkin to his friends over radio he says "be on the lookout for red tiburon with illegal exhaust". He comes back and says yaull have a nice day and slow it down. My cousin jumps out of the car gets his silencer and knocks it in right in front of cop. Cop gives him the ****tiest look ive ever seen. So we get on 15 and this cop must of flown from the stop light to catch us by the time we turned on my road. If only cops worried as much about murderers,rapists, and stuff as they did about exhaust and little ****.
