1995 Nissan Skyline GT-R Stolen...

1995 Nissan Skyline Gt-r33 Stolen!
The car was stolen from www.modernspeedlabs.com MSL located in Indianapolis, Indiana on Late Saturday night Early Sunday Morning. There is a cash reward leading to the arrest of the theives and the car.The car last looked like this

And I wish him luck on finding that. I don't know what the hell I'd do if I found out my car is stolen.

Not many people have Skylines to begin with, so how can stealing a Skyline and parting it out be profitable, since a lot of parts probebly wouldn't fit (except for wheels of course, and maybe seats)

They broke into the shop early in the morning or late at night around midnight-5ish...If anyone has ever seen a Skyline AWD Transmission it doesnt look like a standard Transmission. Its about 12" longer than the T56 on our cars. The stickers on the car are from before SEMA. The car was taken to SEMA without a transmission because they didnot recieve the correct throwout bearing for it.

This car is immaculate. Its Anthracite Grey in color. Has a Custom Orange Painted (NOS brand) bottle with a Bottle Blanket (NOS brand) as well as a CRY02 (brand) intercooler sprayer, HUGE Modern Speed Labs Front Mount Intercooler along with a Huge Modern Speed Labs Radiator. It has SPARCO (brand) Tan with Black Bolsters Racing Seats, a Kenwood In-Dash TV, MOMO Steering Wheel, Custom Powdercoated Cam Covers (Almost a Chamellion Color), Brembo Brakes, HUGE Single Turbo Upgrade with Polished Turbine Housing, One-Off Modern Speed Labs Polished Manifold for the turbo.

We really appreciate everyone keeping an eye and ear out about this. This car was indeed a pride and joy for any serious car enthusiast. Domestic or not this car is a great looking and performing car.

that is a nice ****in car. I hope the thieves get caught joyriding in that thing. Skylines are EXTREMELY rare here in the states. Just the planning involved in such a heist is incredible.

Its a Skyline. How obvious are skylines going down the road? my point exactly. People own skylines to own and drive a skyline.. Not to scrap it.. They wont make much unless they get it out of the country. Which will take them time being it was stolen from Indiana. Had it been a border city or a port city for container and cargo ships -- it'd be long gone by now [img]smile.gif[/img] Most cars stolen in detroit are either scrapped and stripped or taken out of the country.

Off hand, if I was rich enough to import a skyline, mod it and enter it into sema, I would buy some sort of GPS tracking alarm system or at least LoJack

I agree on the LoJack thing, if you're going to drop that much $$$ into a car, why not pay for LoJack?

All logic aside, nice car, sorry to hear about the owner's loss.


...Why wasn't there some sort of engine disabling device installed on it? Maybe it was an inside job to scam insurance... I gottta stop! ARRRGH!
