  • What could I get for my old 96?

I need to sell my old 1996 v6 Camaro. The body is in perfect condition, it has a brand new paint job as well as an aftermarket hood, spoiler, wheels (17x8 Eagle 077s wrapped in brand new rubber) and front lip. As far as modifications go it has a set of pacesetter headers, high flow cat and a 2.5" Flowmaster catback. It has 98k miles on it and it's an auto with 3.08 gears. The only problem is it needs a new transmission. What can I get for it?

I sold my 96 V6 with an exhaust, a 5 spd and 97k miles 2 years ago for $4k. Granted I needed it gone and fast, if I tried harder I probably could have got $5500 or so for it, but that was 2 years ago.

We sold our '97 Firebird with 49,000 miles on it a month or so ago for $5000.00 and I felt fortunate to get that much for it.

KBB says $3,770 private party in Good Condition for zipcode 40595

                    http://www.kbb.com

You won't get any money for the mods, especially if it needs a new tranny. Your best bet is to remove all the mods and sell them seperately.
