  • Have you ever ?

    have you ever had to take your door panel off for whatever . Well I did today . Getting it back on is the BIGGEST pain in the a** :mad: . I was inventing new cuswords while I was doing it !!! It just seems this is one thing GM REALLY should have designed better . Ok , I just had to vent some guys ! [img]graemlins/rant.gif[/img]
    98 silver camaro t-tops , loaded<br />NGK plugs , Taylor 8mm wires , Optima Red Top .

            Had to do it to change my window motor. I just left it off until I was completely done (a week or two later). Yeah, it took longer to get the panel back on than changing the motor

                It sure is a pain. My window switch on my driverside door, is always poping up.

                    Yup it's a PITA. My door is kinda hard to lock/unlock now from outside.

                      the hardest hook is the bottom front. gm must have a machine which does this operation. it would drive normal people insane.

                        I do it all the time it seems...between taking them off to swap the speakers, or to do window motors, etc...I had it down packed after the first time or so.

                          yeah, i have done it a bunch of times and it's not so hard after the first time or so. i had to take the passenger panel off like 3 times this weekend while i was working out problems with my power window install. practice makes perfect.
