just register for a hotmail or email me at MPBarrett@gmail.com for an invite for a
gmail acct. or just put your parents email in your profile, it doesnt really matter, you'll hardly ever get emails from anyone on this site unless you tell them over the board to email you somthing.

so are you thinking of getting an f-body to start working on soon? i would suggest the 96-97 camaro. They are cheap and have the 3.8 which is a major plus. Welcome to the board, hope you stay with us. btw you make me feel old ;)

thanks for the advice t-punk, id rather a 98 up because i personally think they look better but the 93-97 arnt bad looking either the thing is money mostly due to my age. i figured i'd just look for a wrecked on because their real cheap.but latly i dont really know anymore. alot of people are saying not to look at salvage tilted cars but i dont know. i got plenty of time to figure stuff out though
thanks again everyone for making me feel welcome
i promise i wont cause problems

I hear ya on 98+ lookin better. i got my 01 firebird for 8,000 at an auction in 01 because it had front end damage. After i spent 4000 fixing it its been pretty good (a few problems with some suspension pieces but i got that fixed recently). i still feel i got a good deal. The 96's and 97's are real cheap now though, that is the only reason i would say to get one over a 98+. they are great cars though (much better than mustangs in reliability and performance). good luck at finding the one for you.
