I have to admit the Steelers look impressive this year, and after that ugly loss last night I'd be inclined to agree with you. The thing I like about Brady is that he usually doesn't make stupid decisions but after last night... I guess the pats had already packet it in for the holidays.
Anyway it looks like whichever of the two wins the AFC championship game will go on to win it all, the NFC is a waste of space this year
I wouldn't necessarily count the Pats out. Brady played horrible against the Dolphins earlier this year. They just had his number again tonight. The Pats are the most experienced playoff team in the NFL. They know how to get the job done when it needs done.
The Steelers are on a roll, but they're definately beatable. With every game more and more pressure builds up on Big Ben to finally strike one up in the loss column.
The Eagles are choke artists in the playoffs, and without TO their spirit is gone.
LT and the Bolts are rolling through the regular season right now. Schott and the playoffs don't mix too well though.
The team to watch is the Colts. Patyon and his wide recieving core are top notch. They are my favorites to win the Superbowl. Unfortunately, like the Eagles they find a way to shoot themselves in the foot.
why wouldn't the pat's be in wildcard running??? in the afc you'd have the chargers, steelers, and eagles as divison champs then the pats would be in 1st place for the wild card, right?

New England has already clinched the AFC East. The Jets are 10-4, they're the in the #1 wild card spot and the remaining spot will be either Baltimore (8-6), Jacksonville (8-6), or Denver (8-6).
The Eagles are in the NFC.
The only division up for grabs is the NFC West. The rest are already decided. The top two records in AFC and NFC both get first round byes. At the moment New England still has their first round bye. They would have to drop both of their last two games and the Chargers or Colts win their last two games in order to play in the wildcard game.

Why is it all Browns fans say "I know they will be contenders next year."? they made the playoffs a few years ago and that was it. dont get me wrong i love the hardcore browns fans for their passion about their team. but until they win more than 5-6 games a year and make the playoffs more than once every 10years, they will not be a contender. oh yeah i almost forgot. you have this team in youre division that wears black and yellow called the Steelers. that is the biggest reason the browns wont compete. ( and of course the old browns) if youre refering to the old browns being a contender then GO Ravens. J/K. id like to see the browns be a contender ohio needs something to cheer about. :D
