I would post links but you deleted the posts (or the search function is not working). ;) </font>
Only traffic violation I have so far was reckless driving, which was me fishtailing coming out of u-turn.
After getting a lawyer, we plea-bargained it to improper driving - a 3 point violation and 100 fine.
Where did failure to control the vehicle come from? Once again, I think you're dreaming. </font>
Ok, I could be incorrect on what the "actual ticket" said on it. That thread talked about "failure to maintain control" of your vehicle. You lost control because you were trying to take a turn to fast. No matter how you slice it, you lost control of your vehicle, you ended up in the ditch. Does not matter if it said that on the ticket or not.
Everyone makes mistakes it's how you learn from them that matters.
P.S. I never said only traffic violations where you were ticketed ;) . Anyway, since you've deleted them it does not matter

Did you hire a lawyer? How much was the fine? </font>
yup..i hired one..but not even the DA could get the judge to move an inch because of my record...it was reduced to 85/55 ..no fine..3 nights solitary in Austerlitz county jail...5x7 brick cell with a metal bucket in the corner to sh*t in and a wooden bench mounted to the wall for a bed...i never came out once except when my gf visited me for a 1/2 hour one day...even then it was throuhg glass...believe me...i woulda much rather paid a fine...you gotta pay to play lol ...this is why i strictly stick to the track now
BTW...somehow i DO still have a license...i need to be able to have a car to help provide for me and my gf's living...not to mention i think she'd like to have me around...and i do not want to be in a situation where i take someone from someone else...i try to get people to think of these things before they stomp the gas for some extended period of quick fun on the streets...power is no good if you dont know how to use it

Or you got me confused with someone else. </font>
lol, whatever I remember the thread very well. You were in the ditch (or no longer on the road, down here we call that a ditch). You complained cause you did not hurt anyone and a cop came and gave you a ticket anyway. See, if you would not delete your posts we could have solved this problem very easily.
P.S. BTW I'm finished in this thread, you are obviously getting upset. I'm not interested in pushing this to the point to where it gets locked. It's just not worth it to me. Have a great day....
I was once a crazy maddman behind the wheel..2 tickects in two weeks both said 95+ and of course, windows too dark,(vision impaired) something to that effect... anyways my fines were bad aprox. 350.00 for one and 275.00 for the other.. What jacked me was my lovable insurance comp. I was paying for top insurance aprox. (full coverage) 900.00 for a year.. NOW I get reamed at 1850.00 for six months.. OUCH driveing fast only is good for the man with the tie.
Yea Linxs. You kept bringing up my story. I got off with having to go to 3 defensive driving seminars each lasted 3 hours each and a parent had to sit through it with me. Not fun. In the end i payed nothing. November 9th i go back to court and all charges are dropped insurance doesnt go up or anything.

I'm glad it turned out better than it started. I just hate to see someone on this board do something as silly as drive near twice the speed limit, I'd hate to see someone get hurt because of neglagence. At 101 it does not take much to lose control and kill yourself and or others. And it's not just this case either, it comes up often where people are getting upset about the police when they should first step back and objectivly look at the situation.
/soapbox
Anyway I am sorry...
So my truck is finally getting some work done, after 17 years, Oil pressure sensor went out and it’s located under the lower intake manifold. Have to...
