quit my job..back to school :)

my boss at my government job has been a real @sshole about the time i've needed off due to my health stuff lately..so..i quit :D ..he's kinda always been a dick to me anyway..so im starting school for another degree in january for something i'll actually ENJOY doing..autobody repair! ..im excited and cant wait to get started..heres the college and courses and stuff [img]smile.gif[/img]

Let me get this straight, you had a nice cushy office job that paid you a ton of cash and now you quit so you don't have an income while you train to be a body man? Man, I was hoping that your poor choices were only related to your car, not your life choices.

Who cares if they are hard to come by. If he doesn't like what he is doing or where he is doing it why would he want to stay there? You are better off being happy at your job then getting paid more and hating it.

Congrats Scott. Go for what makes you happy. We only live once.

I do have an in-law that's into cars. He was so into it that he took automotive. Ofcourse he got tired of fixing cars that he's neglecting his own.

But then again, he lose interest really quick on just about anything.

If I had the money and time, I wouldn't mine going to UTI; that's only 10 miles away from me. Awesome school for automotive. They even teach NASCAR.

^^ thank you guys! ..money does NOT matter if every day sucks balls because you have to go to a job that you are not happy with..thats why i dont care about the money..i love working on cars..i've been into cars since well before i can drive..like most here..and cannot ever picture myself being bored with them..or not wanting to work on them..sometimes i just LOOK for stuff to work on..i didnt even mention the other degree i was interested in where you can make very slightly less to start than i made with the government..radiology..thats the other one i've thought of just cuz it seems like an interesting job..but so far im set on doing auto body work..and the reason i flat out quit is because i have family and family friends in the government..if i wanted back in i could always get back in..but i dont think so..anyways..i always wanted to open up my own shop way down the line..something that would specialize more in performance cars..but your own business would be a PITA [img]smile.gif[/img]

BTW..Thor..thats freakin awesome they teach NASCAR!
