    C6 corvette $40k

    KMS intercooled twin turbo + engine rebuild to lower compression, head P&P, intake port and hone $4k (maybe less, as I am the guy that runs KMS!)

    suspension mods $1000

    custom exhaust $300

    new wheels $1500

    sticky rubber $1000

    aero kit $1500

    racing seats and harnesses $600

    brake upgrades $2000

    total cost: ~$51,000

    est. horsepower >700hp

    top speed 200mph+

    quarter mile speed high 9 sec to low 10 sec

    Knowing that you could out quarter, out corner, out run, and out style your friend that wasted $40k more on his R32 GTR, priceless, especially when your KMS C6TT is street legal.

          that wouldn't out corner that car, and on the track, wouldn't out run it either.

            Not saying the skyline isn't quick, but let's be realistic.

                i wouldnt say its better but eqaul cause you use one for one thing and one for another. drag = RWD
                Roadracing, im assuming = AWD

                  Yeah doggie, I'd say you're right. I should have specified, AWD (in my opinion) would be better for roadracing, and RWD for drag due to weight transfer. :D

                    AWD to RWD, of course AWD will have good launches and good grip.

                    I'm just saying that with massive horsepower, ridiculous traction, and super stiff suspension, it could be done. I think particularly in the straightaways a set up 650hp+ car would really shine, AWD or not..lol.

                    Just think C5-R to get what I'm suggesting.

                        Yeah totally. My main point was, give me $95,000 dollars and I'll build a car that would dominate a skyline GTR in about everyway, while have lots of money left over...lol.
