this is like...the second time i've ever agreed with Ross lol ...the friends thing doesnt work until you are 100% completely over her...and in order to get there you gotta cut yourself off...i know it sucks balls...and it hurts more then you can even explain...i was with the one girl all through highschool...coulda SWORN she was the one...almost 4 yers...she dumped my @ss before she left for college in NC...i never thought i'd ever meet a girl like her ever again...i mean we did everything together...had all the same interests...for all that time...now about 6 years later i've been in a few relationships since then that were JUST as good...but they ended...cuz they still werent "the one" ...and i hope the one that im with now is...im positive she is...but nobody ever knows for sure...im tellin ya man...shes out there for you...its just not that girl...so use this time to hang with your buddies...not just to look for chicks...you dont want some rebound obviously...but just to have fun while you heal...then when you're ready...go get her!...just always be prepared for even good relationships to end...because sometimes they just do...but its all for a reason man...cuz she sstill out there...dont give up and fall back on this girl...and dont regret it either...you learn from everything...i was once with a total ho lol (i've had about 7 relationships) ..cheated on my 3 times...and i still dont regret that..because i learned some things...(like how to hack hotmail accounts lol) ...my therapy was always working on my car...which probably now makes sense seeing as how its about 5 phases and $30,000 later lol...if you're really that beat up about it...you might consider seeing someone...therapy that is...i go every 3 months...not because i have to...because i like to...its like having someone proof read a paper...but with your life instead...it helps to have a pro read it over and give you some reality checks now and then...i love it personally...or you can just remember my own mother's four famous words that have gotten me through a lot lol ...this too, shall pass

about the LiveJournal, i really don't care who reads it. however, i would expect at least a little respect for how i feel. Her friend didn't show the least bit. that's what pissed me off.

i'm still very hurt by everything, but i realize that it won't do me any good to just sit around and do nothing.

Grigory has the right idea. I had a hole ripped out of my chest a month ago. I spent 200 dollars on a ticket to surprise her at the Phish show, after walking 27 MILES starting at 1:00 in the morning, getting there at 7:30 in the morning, collapsing from dehydration and then finding out the girl i love (we had been dating for like 4 months, and we were in love) thought i didn't trust her and was "checking in on her". She ditched and ignored me the whole 3 days to hang out with her ex-boyfriend, they didn't do anything but still pretty sketchy.

This all being said, a week and a half after it was over she came back to me (sobbing uncontrollably cause she was so ****ty to me, she'd never ever ever been like this before, very out of character for her), and we're back together, and 10x better than before the whole thing lol. I certainly know how you feel, surround yourself with people, being alone is the worst thing to be when you FEEL so alone. Hang out with your friends as much as you can. Luckily my friends knew i had problems with suicide/depression in the past and were crazy supportive of me, but i'll tell you if you're fated for someone or you're not, it's not up to you.

Skorpion317... I know what your going through. my g/f of a year and 5 days short of 3 months broke up with me. She wants to be friends and all but i've noticed that the less i talk to her the easier it has been for me to get over her. I still care about her which will probably never change but i don't think talking to her all the time is a good thing either until i'm completely over her in a romantic sense at least. I think we could be friends again but it will take a while before i could handle it. Just cut your ex off completely. Unlike you i seem to get along with mine really good yet and she told me she'd rather be friends then not talk to me anymore. But she also wants me to be comfortable around her and she said if it takes time then she's fine with that. You'll be ok. It's been a week and a half already for me and i'm already getting better about it. I seriously thought she was the one also. I've never connected with anybody like that and it kinda hurt.
