I did my part as a young voter, and my President won reelection. Maybe you should restate which group of youths needed to vote? Congratulations college students and young people... for talking a good game but then sitting on your collective hands on election day . In my home state I saw you pass out fliers, stage and attend election events, man phone lines and go door to door for John Kerry only to somehow, someway manage to forget that you needed to actually vote for him to win. Less than 1 in 10 voters between 18 and 24 showed up to cast their votes. My disbelief is only exceeded by tempered anger at what a lazy, listless and pampered group you are. Not all of you... just 90%+ of you. As of last year in my home state there were 675,000 students enrolled in Ohio colleges and universities and the total population of young people between 20 and 24 was over 750,000. Over 675,000 of you decided you had better things to do than vote... thanks, you've made a tremendous difference. Go to the bathroom and take a long look in the mirror. You are single handedly responsible for four more years of government for big business and of big business. I now hope and pray for a draft to be enacted and to see you and your carefree "live for myself and for today" attitudes shipped off to the military where you may learn a shred of discipline, respect and responsibility. Flipping unbelievable.
Sounds a bit irritated...

hey, congrats to anyone who voted for Bush. I hope you just realize what you did. I wonder which country we will invade next? Maybe Venezuala? They have 'terrorists' down there who sell cocaine. And they have oil to boot.

Whether or not your vote "counts", it's a right that we are blessed to have, at the very least, and we're not taking advantage of it.
Kerry would be in the White House right now if the youth generation had done what they were supposed to.
Just my .02
I know at my local community college, there was a lot more of those who wanted bush over kerry as well. Bush also won Ybor city (the spanish sector of Tampa, cuban dominated) which tradtionally voted democratic.
Bush appealed to the crowds this time he needed to. The only one that held strong by kerry was the black community. Thats what the news said here in Tampa anyway.-1999 Camaro Coupe 3800 Series II V6 A4 - SOLD
-1998 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP coupe

I voted and I am 20 and I been voting since my senior year in high school. And at my community college it was split between Bush and Kerry. I see kids with bush pins and Kerry pins. I really don't see why a college kid would vote for Bush being there financial standing unless they spoiled rich kids. Also allot of churches were against Kerry for his view on gay marriage and abortion view.1998 Navy Blue A4 Camaro (Sold)
MODS: Performance
Whisper airlid,K&N Filter, TSP Rumbler & Carsond cat.
Apperance:Xenon Airdam and clearcorners. http://www.cardomain.com/id/wilkcamaro98
2002 Dodge Ram Sport Silver 4.7 v8 stock.

As for which country I think we'll invade next? Probably the next one whos dictator decides to tests biological weapons on his own citizens.
Jerriko, why do you act as if America hasn't invaded a country without UN support? Let me remind you of Milosevic and the Kosovoian people. How about the half million Rwandans? Clinton acted without UN support. He broke International law, and then he was praised for it. Innocent civilians and US soldiers died in both instances. Why is Iraq any different? Is it because a Republican sent an army over and ignored the UN? No matter who sends our military into another country, the world is a better place because Milosevic and Hussein aren't ordering hundreds of thousands to their deaths.1998 A4 Pontiac Firebird

He didn't use a horrible act of terrorism to invade a country that had nothing to do with that terrorism.
Yeah, but I suppose your right. Since we are already there, we might as well think of another reason we should be in Iraq. If the US government was so concerned about Saddam gassing his own people, why didn't Bush Sr. take care of him the first time.

I was going to give a really crappy response to Jerriko, but I've decided to just say: Deal with it, four more years
and also: How dare you to think you know better than the majority of American voters?
Sorry, most Republicans didn't like it when Clinton had 8 years. However, how many Republicans said this crap: "Whaaaa, not another four years, I'm running away to Canada!!!"

Well we all know Clinton does that, the Oval Office come to mind? :D Honestly though, I haven't heard people say anything about bailing on the country if a Democrat takes office but I can't say it doesn't happen. That would be foolish of me.
I shouldn't be rough on people that have differing points of view than I hold. I just don't like it when people say things like I'm making the country go to sh*t because of the way I vote. That's your opinion, your way of putting the blame on certain people that are outside of your political preference. But you know what? That's fine! You can blame me because I chose to get up off my butt and vote for who and what I believe in, which is WAY more than you can say about the people who would have voted the same way you did (you did vote, didn't you?) but rather chose to party or sleep in or punch the one-eyed monkey or whatever it was they felt like doing. Put the blame where it doesn't belong because we won, we can take it. Blame other people for your comrade's lack of action, it'll change things, honestly!
OR you can get ready for 2008 by getting other like-minded young voters motivated and registered to vote so you can make a difference. Put your energies to good use, you've got less than 4 years. Now get moving! ;)Check out my stable of supercharged W-Bodies HERE
\'97 Pontiac GP GTP Coupe
\'98 Regal GS | L67 3800 Series II

LMAO, true, true.
Thing is, we don't know WHO is going to run for office in 2008, but people are starting to talk about it already. I welcome this because I won't just vote Republican because that's the political affiliation I choose. I would love to see a Dem. that I would vote for, and I would vote for them!Check out my stable of supercharged W-Bodies HERE
\'97 Pontiac GP GTP Coupe
\'98 Regal GS | L67 3800 Series II
