this isn't the first vw to go up in flames that i've heard of lately. Why exactly was he video taping anyways? Maybe they were doing something to the car that made it overheat, possibly catching on fire?

Maybe they pulled most of the crap out of it already, and he wanted a new car to swap stuff to. looks like the turbo or exhast lit something on fire they pulled the fire extingisher out a little late I would say. also what the hell is the firewall for if it wont stop a fire from spreading that quickComment

I think the firewall did its job if they were able to get out alive. Anyway, I laughed throughout that video for some odd reason. Yeah it sucks his car went up in a ball of flame, but it was just humorous to me.

what happenes, is the fire under the hoo gets all the wires hot inside, hot enough to where they rubber on them melts.... then the wires hit and short out, causing another fire inside.....Originally posted by Drone51:
