great, i have only just got my camaro so has anybody got any advise or things i should check/change, any common problems that i could avoid??
one thing i will say and i will post in the tech area soon, it has a SES light which seems to come on if i put my foot down to about 60mph then slow down quickly. my thinking was a o2 sensor somewhere as the car drives 100% no probs so it cant me nothing major
mine does that too. i still cant figure it out.. somebody told me it was a sensor or something to do with the gas cap< i dont know what the gas cap has to do with it though.
welcome to the board anyways.
3.4s are a headache ill tell you that much from experience. seems that after 100k they want to start crapping on themselves.
current car- 95 Trans am- bolt ons, parked and collecting dust. why? because **** it
Welcome to the board. I had a 94 with 55K miles on it before I traded it in early summer. It was a good car and gave me no problems while I owned it. Your best friend when it comes to reliability will obviously be good periodic maintenance. As long as you stick to the "technical" sections of this board, I'm sure you won't get wrapped up in too much drama around here... ;)

i am from the UK and currently own a 1985 SE trans am which is a 'KITT' conversion i also own a 1994 Camaro as my daily drive. and why do i drive american cars???
Welcome
I'd love to see some pic's of the 1985! Got any you can post?
I was looking through your site. That 305 you have in there is not 5500cc's (that'd make it a 5.5 liter?) and it only makes about 170hp and 210tq stock. ;) Sorry to break it to you
Otherwise, badass ride
Mustangs.. Come to the darkside...

The dark side is the path to the shadow of greed. =D

Still trying to find oil leak on my Camaro, it’s a tough one. I think it is the oil pressure sender myself. Leaking when raving and going into boost....
