I guess if stuff has to go wrong, it all has to go wrong at once.
I recently THOUGHT that I got over a case of pneumonia... then it came back. Not the way that Chris Rock comes back at you, oh no... the way that your deranged, drunken, homicidal ex-girlfriend comes back.
I couldn't breathe. There I was, sitting in my room, and every single breath hurt in the most unholy way I've ever felt. My buddy rushed me to the hospital in his jeep. I actually thought I was going to die heading up there.
Turns out this infection in my lungs got into the lining of my lungs and created this series of sacks filled with jello-esque fluid. The doctors did surgery and went in through my back with a scope and cut apart all these sacks and stuck two tubes in my chest that drained stuff for 2 days.
There was almost a liter of fluid when it finished draining.
So I spent 8 days in the hospital, they took blood every day and they were constantly injecting me with stuff. Man, hospital food sucks too. It was easily the worst 8 days of my life.
Morphine is fun, though.
So I get released from the hospital and come home to my computer (which has been on for 8 days) and restart it. Upon restart it says some file in the system folder is fried. I try a reload from the install disk and get nothin. Basically, my computer is screwed. I'm on a campus computer right now.
AND now that I can drive again, my battery is still screwed. Hopefully I can fix that today.
DON'T EVER GET PNEUMONIA.
