as a republican this time around. i am kind of disapointed by the fact that bush keeps saying the same thing everyonce in awhile. Kerry is making a good speech but unfortunatly, i cant believe what he says. i still support bush but he is boring me

Kerry also is repeating himself over and over. "90% of the troops...90% of the cost..." Sound familiar? It's the one statistic he was able to memorize before the debate started. Good debate so far though!

the debates are interesting to watch, but the majority of people that are voteing for either guy, arnt going to switch b/c of the debates

And Bush isn't? "Wrong war, wrong time, blah blah" Anyway, there are really no surprises here. Same stuff we've been hearing for the past year.

                    Blldoggy,

nope, didn't notice the close times

Aside from that, the dabates aren't going to change anyone's mind, it's going to help the undecided figure out who to vote for. This portion of the debates are going to be boring, because you know where everyone stand. The other two debates should be much more interesting depending on the decided topics. :D

                      Actually, thats not true....

Bush's disapproval rating is at 53% However Kerry's approval rating is at 46-47% - that means theres a lot of people who dont like Bush but havent been convinced Kerry is good.

There are polls that say the oppossite numbers as Zogby. However, I trust Zogby. I work with zogby polls on a day to day basis. I know many people that put their trust in Zogby to make real strategy decision - they are not affiliated with a media outlet and have no interest in creating "drama". Zogby is the way to go.

Without knowing the specifics of the methodology of these other polls I can not explain the differences - but when I cite Zogby, I do so not for partisan reasons, if Zogby had Bush's approval reversed I would still tell you how much I trust the corporation.
