hehe honestly I have made my entire college life without having to eat ramen noodle once, but I did live off of popcorn, nachos, hotdog buns I snagged from a rough week after I had a rough spot with money.

At USF in Tampa, there was also free food around campus. If you could deal to listen to what people had to *****, i mean make aware about to others, you could have a full bbq dinner in the afternoon for $0.00! Ribs/chicken/beans/potato salad/cole slaw/etc...

Ramean noodles aren't bad, but they can get old quick. I used to buy the creamy chicken ones among others. But if you happen to have chicken throw it in a teflon/nonstick pan with a little bit of butter or cooking oil whatever you got. Cook slice chicken and put on top of ramnein noodles. Walaah gourmet meal. (I drain the water of the noodles before I'd mix in the little package, or leave just a tiny tiny bit of water)

My roommate once decided to call up fastfood restaurants and claim to have not gotten the wrong order, or something was wrong with it. And would demand it be replaced. This got quite amusing when the Taco Bell people started to recognise his voice.

Peanut butter and bread, both are pretty cheap, and you could eat off that for a week if you really had too.

If you got a little bit of money try to find a book, it's called "A MAN, A CAN, A PLAN" I dunno where my girlfriend found it, but it has some really cool, simple meals in it. All you have to do is open a can mix with something else and heat, she said there was one for microwave meals too.

oh, and spaghetti is fairly cheap too.

when I was in college, I shopped at the cheap grocery stores. If your shopping at a big grocery chain store they are robbing you. The Kroger card isn't worth ****. And superwalmart's food is over priced too.

Oh and on the back of some of the rice boxes you can find cool meal ideas. Same with cambell's soup like the "cream of soups" they usually have a meal on the back it will name everything you need and how to cook it.

This was how I made it through college, good luck.

Hot dogs and macaroni and cheese is the best meal. EVER.

Wal mart has the lowest prices on food in my town. The hungry man dinners are a whole 2 dollars cheaper there than at the local grocery chains.

It helps when you work there and get 10 percent off, too.

$20 quesadilla maker (best investment ever!) its circle and it even cuts them into triangles for you. you just have to fill some tortilla shells with cheese and some already cooked meat (like sandwhich meat) close the lid and in 4mins you're good to go.
For the slighty richer fellas, throw some salsa on top.
I've got one in my room and it definitly gets a work out. its so easy I can even do it when I'm drunk.

down here at Burger King if you order something on the back of the recipt they give you this number to call to complete a servay. At the end the will give you a conformation number that your right on the back of the recipt. Next time you go back to Bk all you have to do is order a small fry and a small drink and you get a woper for free. Pretty good deal in my opinion. Plus when you buy the small fry and drink you get another recipt. And do it all over again.

Spanish yellow rice. The family size bag is lige 99 cents, and it's enough food for a couple of days. Or if you're lucky enough to have a Korean market close, get their bolws of noodles. They have veggies and meat and all kinds of things in them, and one will fill me up for a while. Snack packs are pretty cheap. Whole watermelons. You could get english muffins, tomato sauce and american cheese, and you've got mini pizzas (my favorite when I was a kid!)
