• Free Pinstripes! ****ERS!!!

this morning my car got keyed for the second time since i owned it. Once at school and Today it happened in the IHOP parking lot at breakfast. I walked out and the whole car was ****ed...

Insurance is paying for it so at least when i get it back it will be perfect.

The only question i have is can i get the color changed? or do i have to stick to the same color?
If so any suggestions?

I am just so ****ing mad and glad i didnt see who did it or i would be typing this from jail right now.

Ill post pics tommorow

That focking sux. What is wrong with people these days?! They have no respect for another person's property. This is why I drive my Firebird on weekends only, and never park it anywhere. I just get in, drive for an hour or two, and then come straight back home to the safety of the garage.

No one but me and my mechanic touches my car!

Isn't it horrible that we'd have to resort to such drastic measures to protect our property such as how crazy's dealing with the threat? I give other people's cars lots of leeway when just walking by, let alone when I'm opening my car door. Crap, if I feel two cars are parked even a bit too close together, I'll park farther out just to avoid causing a space issue by parking between them. Most would squeeze in and slam their door into the other cars.

Flat out damaging someone's property willfully deserves a beatdown though...

i hate that crap. i had someone key a small area of my fender the second day i had my car. luckily, it wasn't deep at all and i just buffed most of it out. you could only tell if you looked at it closely.

but as far as picking another color, most insurance companies don't care what parts you use when replacing them as long as it doesn't cost extra. and if it does cost extra, you'll have to pay the difference. i'm assuming it would be the same with paint, but i'm not certain. ask your agent.

i'm sure different paint has different costs... plain white probably costs less than a pearlescent tangelo orange. or at least i would imagine.
