Any Lineage 2 or WoW players around?

Anyone here play the MMORPG Lineage 2 or World of Warcraft (WoW)?

A few guys at work play both and asked me to join but I wasn't sure how either game played. You always hear about crowded servers and slow game play and wondered if either had these problems.

WoW is a highly addictive, very fun game. They had some serious network problems, but they've been working on them, and mostly there are no connection issues, and gameplay is smooth. I plan on the Whisperwind server.

Do you run a high-end PC?

One of my co-workers told me that he had to from 512 to a gig of RAM to get it to play w/o any lag.

Athlon 2700+, overclocked, 1 GB CL2 RAM, and a GeForce 6800 GT board.

I can run the game in 1280 x 1024 with all detail sliders on max and 8x aniscopic filtering and 6x antialiasing and get 60+ fps in most places.

I can't say what would happen with less than 512. To be honest, I wouldn't bother playing any modern PC game with less than 512.
