• What would you do

Me = 18 (almost 19, meaning insurance will be reduced by 50 a month in Nov)
My car = 02 Camaro blue ttops v6
My car cost = 12.5k (In January with 29k)
My insurance = 164 a month (this is cheap for me because in Ga i paied 367 a month)
My dream car = Trans Am Ws6

Anyways i have the chance to get a new car. My dad's gf (divorced my mom last year) needs a car. She loves my camaro. So she would take my baby and I would have to get another car. therefore

Trans Am cost is about 15kish with 55k+ miles
Trans Am + me + insurance = 164 + 50-80 (its not a brand new 02 or 01, so ins is kinda cheap)

so i'm really thinking about doing it, because theres only gonna be like a 3-4k difference between both cars, plus insurance will not be like 39403 a month ... so i guess what i'm really asking is, if ya'll were in this situation, would you guys do it?

If you can afford it, go for it. Just get FIRM quotes from your insurance agent (using VIN numbers) before you do.

Good luck!

DUMP THE 6-BANGER! You'd even have more fun in a Mustang GT. Tell your daddys woman she can buy mine if she wants :D

you think isurance is going to go up 50 dollars a month? lol...

the difference between v6 and v8 for me was over 3 grand a year...

who is your insurance company? are you alone on the policy?

I don't know about Jesus, but I would get the v8. You can find a LS1 with 55k for a lot less than 15k. 00 and 01's with 20-40k miles are going for 15k.

There's only a 10 dollar/month difference for me between my 01 v6 camaro, and the 00 trans am ws-6 I was drooling over last week.

Some insurance companies are wierd like that.

I've got Progressive, if any of you are curious.
