Ok the past few nights my internet is acting funny around nine until 11 or so. My AIM and weather bug will work. However, browser the internets like impossible I thinking something with the DNS. The only reason I able to post on here right now is because I had the ip address written down. Do you people think it my computer or Comcast has something updating or something cause after that time everything starts to work fine again.

Comcast had problems last night, as well as a few nights before that, my friend had the same problems.

If you can get there by IP and not name then yes it is a DNS issue, if nothing changed with your computer it has to be related to a major carrier or your ISP. More than likely your ISP.

And yahoo toolbar, google toolbar or anyother tracking software. Brings a machine to it's knees.

And just for the record, I have Comcast at home and I've had 3 mass outages in 6 days now.. tonight included. I've JUST now gotten back on stable. Comcast billing will be getting a phone call about pro-rating my account. I don't pay $XXX.XX to not use a service. Controlled outage is one thing, but mass failure.. no. Not acceptable.

My DSL is usually good but lately I've been getting horrible pings/latency when playing games.
