This does not necessarily have to do with this one post. I have noticed this from months of seeing your posts. You have "My V6 destroys all on the road, V8's are slow!" syndrome and it appears YOU think you are gods gift to the road. It seems the faster V6 someone has...the more immature they act.

You've accomplished good times on your bird, and I'm not 'insulting' it one bit. But you seem to have an over-inflated ego..which you don't have 'much' room for, due to nitrous. Grow the **** up and stop having the attitude that 'all' V8 owners think they are the fastest,,and everyone is created so that you can show them your V6 is faster.

Wait, I will do it for you:
c0ck·y Audio pronunciation of "cocky" ( P ) Pronunciation Key (kk)
adj. c0ck·i·er, c0ck·i·est

Overly self-assertive or self-confident.

Just incase you don't know what those big words mean either:
self-as·ser·tion (slf-sûrshn)
n.

Determined advancement of one's own personality, wishes, or views.

self-con·fi·dence (slfknf-dns)
n.

Confidence in oneself or one's own abilities

James doesn't seem "cocky" to me... the whole point of the post was that people always put down the V6, but his is faster than a SUPERCHARGED LT1, AND A SUPERCHARGED 5.4L V8 ... that isn't cockiness, just retribution.
Ummmm....Thanks? That just proved that 'cocky' was the exact word I wanted to use..

The LT1 is a disgrace for not running faster of course. The Lightning maybe able to pull a better time, he could of been fooling you. With the blown V8s, they'll never run out of power unlike a bottle of nitrious. Faster than "some supercharged LT1s" Im sure properly tuned ones for the strip would dip into the 11s.

As for "Camaro_SLP", disrespecting a senior member, thats not cool.

You piss ant piece of ****. This is one of the reasons why this board was created in the first place. I don't think you know exactly what it was like before this board was created, when some of us were still over at CZ28.com. Every time one of us would "try" to mod a car and get some decent times on a 1/4 mile, a V8 member would bash. You are too new to know what that was like.

When the opportunity to bash the hell out of a V8 owner presents itself (especially one with an SC), I would take it too, just like James. I would have a puzzled look on my face when I heard those 1/4 mile times. Its not an inflated ego when you have the car and times to back it up.

Camaro_SLP, I see in your sig you are swapping to an LS1. You wanna know something real sad??? After you do that swap, you are still going to be about a second slower than James. I'll tell ya what you can do with that LS1, shove it up your ***, sprint down the track to a 12.4, jerk yourself off because you have a V8, and get the **** off this message board.

That Kid with the Lt1 probably had issues or bugs to iron out.

I know a guy once with a vortech blown Lt1. He dyno's 420 rwhp. But did 13.3 on the track, when he should have been 12.3 or something. Issues alright.

You have taken up the Lighting for a challenge.

It's nice to see some people on here use some reasonable logic.

And besides..NA 12secondv6 runs 14.5's at 91 MPH. I believe he has A LOT more mods than say...hawgs? Who ran a 14.7 with exhaust and intake was it?

Anyway,,this wasn't meant to start a LS1 vs. 3.8. I just observe other peoples posts that complain about V8 owners dogging on V6's..and some of you actually take the time to register to the other boards just to back your V6 up. All I ever seen from 12secondv6 is the exact same..Makes fun of the V8. Not to mention his damn posts about the 'sexy' neon. There's a point when the same joke/saying gets worn out and tired..and you've greatly surpassed that point.

Good luck with your nitroused 3.8.

LOL!!! I don't get why you guys aren't suprised the SCed LT1 ran slow....2.73 gears, and probebly street tires?

Tell him to put in some 3.73s and some DRs and then lets see what he runs.

And since when is admitting you're a bad driver an excuse? Dude, saying something like that is ADMITTING the problem! "I have a misfire/ My rear tires are messed up /I have food in the car" is an excuse!!! This guy just straight fessed up, no BS. What he pretty much said is the equivalent of saying "Yeah, I have a really small wang."

If "I'm a bad driver" isn't a good excuse, then what is?
