  • Loading up the Twin Turbo V6 Mustang for track tommorow...

Me and Justin are gonna load up the bone stock motor Twin Turbo 2000 3.8 V6 Mustang tommorow and gonna head to the track....best pass previous is 11.29 at 122 with a crappy 1.89 60ft, the car has done 1.6X's with traction. We have upped the boost to 16psi from the previous 14-15psi. With a good 60ft it will run in the 10's. Remember this is a JUNKYARD motor he put in after blowing up the first one with nitrous....still has the junkyard part number on it ;)Stock heads, stock cam, stock block!! All Justin has is suspention mods, 3000 stall converter, bigger injectors and his own tune he did with his SCT program. Wish us luck!!

vid of best run so far....

V6 Stangs are really going all out. They have one that's 20 psi and doing over 500 rwhp with a 4.3 block.

I wish him the best and I hope he breaks in the 10. But 16 psi on a stock motor is definately pushing it.

yeah it is pushing it but we know it will be pushed too much eventually. On 15psi he made 430rwhp and 450rwtq so at 16psi he is at like 445rwhp or so.

Shane, can you e-mail me pics of his set up. I have a brother in-law that drives a Stang. I think he'll be very interested. Ofcourse, I'm interested too.
