Does anyone have a yellow car? I'm hearing insurance is a little more because of the color (just like red). I don't know if that's true or not.. gotta check into it... Opinions? I'm thinking of purchasing a yellow Cavalier for my next commuter car... it's absolutely beautiful... but VERY bright. Unfortunately, the cops will probably notice me (along with everyone else). Should I go for it or stay incognito with a black car again?..

i would stay with the black, it's classier looking......yellow is asking for trouble.
but then again i'm partial to black because its always been one of my favorite car colors......

I saw a yellow Firebird just last week with black wheels, limo black tint and blackout tail lights. It looked really good. I can tell that the paint was custom.
Get that yellow Cavy. My wife is an insurance underwriter. I'll ask her if it's true about yellow being slightly higher to insure.

I dont think color affects insurance. Doesnt seem to affect mine. They said in driver's school that if you buy a white car you'll have lower insurance rates but I call BShttp://www.sounddomain.com/memberpage/437104 96 Firebird M5

if you look at accidents and things by a %(not numbers) yellow cars are involed in less... yellow is the color that is "easist" for your brain to pick up, and it stands out from all other colors.......
