Well,,, I didn't want to get into that.. but pretty fast. I drive 34 miles each way. In the morning I'm usually sitting in traffic, but on the way home I fly.. on average about 80mph.
I got pulled over 3 times and got 2 tickets with my black cavalier. One was for speeding (48 in 25) and the other for a wrong turn. Third time I was pulled over was for a bs check... tinted windows. My windows were legal, so he had nothing on me. It was a real odd stop. When I made it clear that my car was legal and questioned him as to why I was being pulled over.. he kept saying "It's all good"... and I was thinking this is weird, what's wrong with this cop? Maybe he is a newbie??
Anyway, I've had 5 black cars and I know how hard it is to keep them looking good. Which is why I think I might need a change...

To the yellow car people: Do rock chips show up real bad in that color paint? Sounds like a dumb question.. but that commute has literrally destroyed the front end/hood/windshield of my black car. Thanks for all the replies everyone!

on my car the chips show cause its black under the paint

not sure on a factory car

I looked at the car today.. and it's beautiful. Talk about bright! Only thing is, the 2.2 ecotec feels a little weaker than my 2.4, so that sucks. Other than that, it's basically the same car in a different color with a sunroof and CD player (that mine doesn't have). I can get this car for $9500 (including trading my 97' with 94,000 miles). I REALLY LIKE MY CAR and I'm not definate on making this purchase, although I know the day will come soon when I need to replace. As far as the yellow is concerned, I think it's becoming more common. I saw a few yellow cars on the road today.

Funny that you said this.. because that's the first thing I thought yesterday! It definately needs at least a filter or an intake. It has some kind of custom exhaust from the factory with a chrome tip. When the guy started it, it sounded like a little rice rocket.. [img]graemlins/rofl.gif[/img] Andrew, how long have you had your car painted yellow?
