ummm no they suck </font>
harborfreight.com and http://www.cumminstools.com

are pretty much the same place. Both sell some of the same items. Just check around most tool places sell the same stuff.

I have a harbor freight store near me. and I love harbor freight. I have a shed full of HF tools.
I run my business with harbor freight tools and have yet to have a problem with anything. Been using them all for well over a year. No problem and nothing but praise for actually be able to afford the tools I need.

I love the local harbor freight store. I never have enough money. Best thing about harbor freight is sooner or later, everything is on sale. They have 50% off sales all the time, just wait. The tool you want will be half off soon enough.

harbor freight is A #1 in my book.

Great items at great prices.

Watch out for pricy tool places.
They sell some of the same items for 3-400% more.

The bench grinder I got for $20, Eastwood.com sell it for $60. Same brand/item. Just $40 more from the rip off artist Eastwood. Never buy from them. Every time I have bought from eastwood.
I found it later for more then %50 off.

I think you mean vise grips, not channel locks.

The real "vise grip" brand is the only brand to chose. 1 flat jaw, 1 curve jaw and 1 needle nose set will make up for 100s of tools.

a nice set fo vice grips is great to have but I mean the REAL channel locks...

don't see vice grips taking the place of those. Not so much to be used on your car but plumbing, cheap ones slip, twist, whatever and cause you to smack your nuckles on something.

Harbor Freight may not be Craftsman or Snap-On, but it is great if you don't have the money to buy the latter. Plus HF has a warranty on their power tools (which craftsman doesn't). So who cares if HF is crap. With a warranty, just take your tool back when it breaks.

We sell the REAL channel locks at Wal-Mart in my department. The actual Vise (I thought it was Vice...) Grips are for sale there, too .

Stanley makes a damned fine set of tools as well. Not snap-on or craftsman quality, and there is warranty (save for the wal mart return policy), but they're fine when you're in a pinch for money.

Like he said but also, all HF electric tools come with an extra set of brushes for the motor. No one does that. In an electric motor, that is what wears out. The brushes. When Name brand $80 tools come with spare parts and a good warranty, talk to us then.

But then again you gotta shop smart, no matter who you buy from.
