    I make and powder some small custom parts.

    I had some packages come up MIA 4. So I had 7 people on hold before I sent any more packages out.

    I told everyone what was going on and why I was making them wait. And then assured everyone new items shipped asap.

    Guy emails me on the 15th. say s the item doesn't fit. Files a complaint with Paypal the 16th saying he never received the part. And the tracking info says he got it at 1:15pm on the 14th????

    He say they guards wont fit his 05 Kaw Vulcan.
    I have sold a few dozen sets to Vulcan owners. from 00-05 [same bike] I had 7 people on hold and 6 were for Vulcans. Two of those were 05 Vulcans. He is the only one with a problem. I make each part the same. Exact copies of one. No way his don't fit.

    Guards sold in shipped this week.

    so I was still willing to work with the guy and fix what ever his problem. He probably ain't installing them right but I myself do work blind. I have never even seen a Vulcan. I work purely from direction of the owner. In this case the yahoo Vulcan list guy worked it out and I have sold them dozens n dozens of sets. But this one guy has a problem???

    Am I being to nice to even try and help him anymore???

    I did make them wait a bit longer but I was not gonna shipping anymore packages till I knew what was up.

    I even put new customers on hold until they were taken care of first. I still have a few people to contact as I said I was not gonna do anything else until they were taken care of 100%. Had about 10 new sales, got about 6 now.

      It kinda sounds like the dude is trying to scam you. Since his paypal complaint is that he never recieved the item. And he is telling you the part doesn't fit. If it 'doesn't fit' he got it obviously.

      Since you have tracking info, you should win the paypal complaint. Have him email you a digital pic of the parts so you can verify he got the correct part. This gives you proof he actually got the part. If for some reason you accidently sent him the wrong part hopefully you can tell from the picture. If its the right part you know he's installing it wrong, or just trying to scam you.

        Geese? Honk honk?
        I've been looking at C++ all day, but I'm pretty sure I still know english...
        I dunno what to make of this '10 people on hold' stuff, but the one guy sounds like an idiot that's trying to rip you off. I try to help my customers through any problems, but incompatibility is not cause for return. If I were you I'd keep selling and not make anyone wait while I worked it out with the "problem child."
