• DOH! so I was getting stalked by a cop...

typical cop stalking, sees the sports car late at night going a bit over the limit. And starts stalking me.

So I sit there and go, well gotta go the speedlimit... then I realize... I have 3.23s but programed for 3.42s!

And I cannot remember if the speedo is reading too fast, or if it is reading too slow, either way with a cop "stalking" going over or under by like 5-7 mph may give them reason to pull you over.

either way after 3 miles he turned off but... damn need to fix that.

Sounds lie the type pf indecision a drunk guy would have while driving. Were you drunk? I am. Yay.

Gotta watch out for cops. We get bored as hell and love messing with people if we get the chance. :D

Amen to that, especially when it's cold out and the drunks stay inside

That isn't the best thing to do because if you do stop at a random place the officer will have a reason to make contact with you, run your license etc. It's better to just drive normal and don't do anything to give him PC to stop you. That way you can just wave when he goes by

I always wave at them. I have them follow me in to gas stations and follow me out - haha. I have some GREAT stories about being followed, YET I have NEVER been pulled over!

Its funny. The cops think they're messing with me when they're behind me, little do they know that i'm messing with them. I love going the speed limit, using my blinkers, stopping for 3 full seconds. Its just really funny to know your doing everything correctly and they have no reason to pull you over. Yet they still waste their time following you for blocks.

Cops run license plates all the time btw...

                    Thats what I do.

But it sucks in my work truck. Something is wrong with the passenger side tail light and burns out for no reason every few months. So I never know, plus other people drive that truck and who knows what they are doing.

Yes I happen to know that they run license plates all the time because I am one... what I ment was stopping randomly somewhere gives us a reason to make contact and run YOU through NCIC see if your drivers license is valid, whether you have warrants and if you have good insurance. Usually if we follow someone long enough they will screw up just enough and give us PC to stop them, but its not the law abiding citizen that were looking to mess with...its the scrote bags out there that we are after. Just a side note, I've never given a person driving an f-body a ticket, yet.

Just pull into a quickie mart and if the cop follows you, start acting like you're going to rob it. ;)

I just continue on my way. I think doing the speedlimit on the dot makes you look suspicious or guilty I guess. I had a MA cop follow me for about 10 miles. I just continued to do 9 mph over the speedlimit on cruise. The majority of the times I just keep it 5 above when they ride my ***.

I've even passed one before. He had a huge clusterf**k because he was doing 65 mph on the dot. So you just see 5,000 cars in one line in the right hand lane behind the cop. I just went cruising right on by at 71 or so. I know, Im such a bad *** right?

Im not saying you can get away with anything, just sharing my experiences.
