    We're taking our Cub Scout pack to Kennedy Space Center for an overnighter. We get to "camp in" under the giant Saturn V.
    I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

                    As for not falling I don't Know I have been in the rocket garden before ~tropical storm conditions(no rain) and those things were swaying like a mofo, they got the people out and closed it down. [img]smile.gif[/img]

                        U guys think if I strap Saturn V to my car ill hit 10.2 on 1/4 mile? Might need new shocks tho...

                          One of the rockets in the rocket garden fell down during the hurricane. All that is there right now are some ripped remains of the big base structure. The railing around the missing rocket has a big bent area on one side where the rocket fell down.

                          As far as the size of the Saturn V, look closely at the lower right section of the photo I linked to - you can see a few people there to get some idea of the size. The entire Saturn V is about 130 meters long.

                          ...And I'm happy to report the Saturn V did not fall down on me Saturday night. I did wake up a few times during the night and kept seeing TED.

                          Who / what is TED?

                          I was under stage 2 of the rocket where the words "UNITED STATES" are painted. I was under the letters "TED."
