Look into I believe in FL their is some law about returning a car before 30 days or something.

Yeah, no kidding. Talk to a lawyer or the BBB and see what you can do.

I paid $13k for my '99 with 42k in almos t perfect condition over a year and a half ago...

That LT1, in fully loaded and in PERFECT condition, was worth at full dealer markup no mor ethan $8k... realisitically $5-6k. In the condition yours is/was in it should have been worth $3k at the most.

Good luck finding your dealer though - he's probably on a Royal Carribean cruise right now...

well the guy who owns the dealership(jeff schitt)is in the hospital becuase he ran a stop sign and got t-boned. that happened right after i bought this car. hmmmmmm... maybe he got smashed by another dissatisfied customer.

that was the total cost was after tax & title, getting new plates and tags,and e-checked roughly i just rounded it up. the car was like 8900. i dont mind paying that much for a 10year old car with really low miles. i love Lt1s more than the ls1s. dont ask me why but i do. the car other than the engine problems is absolutely perfect. not one scratch on the paint. and the interior is perfect. i dont mind working on it like this, heck i learned alot about this car last night. so when i get it running right i know how to tear it down when i want to start messing with internals. and the opti spark isnt as hard to get to as everyone whines about.

to bad i dont have the cash right now i want to take the heads intake and the throttle body and get them P&P, and put a new cam it.

leaking head gasket: $2,000 (ive shopped around)
new radiator: $?.??
any bearing damage that may have been suffered whilst driving with a leaking head gasket: $alot
fix tripometer
get new thermo (my cars thermo never goes past 190 on the gauge)
the engine has been knocking for like 4 months. i dont have the $$$ to have it fixed. so ill torch it like these guys did. :D

is that to fix the gasket? or to buy a new head gasket. it shouldnt cost that much for a new head gasket. and if im right and youre paying that much for a new head gasket.. ive got a deal for you.. would you like to buy a copper engraving of the great emancipator for 500bucks???
